Keep Cool in the Heat
With the UK set to see temperatures soar this Summer its important now more than ever to maintain hydration and to keep cool. Choosing the right food or drink to cool you down is not always easy when we're tempted by full fat ice creams or sugary fizzy drinks. So we thought we'd spoil you with some delicious healthy ideas to cool you down in the heat of the sun.

Iced tea
- Bring 2 pints of fresh water to the boil and then pour over 5-6 bags of Pukka Herbs Refresh tea. Put aside and allow to steep for 1 hour. Remove the bags and add 1 pint of cold water, stir and chill in the fridge. Serve with ice cubes. This tea keeps well but is best when fresh so try to make up a new batch every second day.

Iced fruit slush
-Blend your favourite juice (we love the Mango and Orange Fruit Hit Smoothie) with some crushed ice. Serve with a sprig of fresh mint or a slice of orange.

Iced Lollies
- Fill lolly moulds with your favourite juice or smoothie. For that taste of the tropics why not try the Fruit Hit Pineapple and Passion fruit smoothie?

Sorbet
- Home-made sorbet made without an ice cream machine is never as smooth as the shop bought version but it is just as tasty. Try our version of an apple sorbet - whisk a little icing sugar with lemon juice into 1 litre of Fruit Hit Apple Juice. If you have an ice-cream machine churn the mixture, if not pour into plastic tubs and place in the freezer.

You'll need to remove the plastic tubs when the mixture is just about to freeze (don't allow it to go rock hard) and rough up with a fork. You can now serve straightaway or freeze for later.

If you do freeze defrost for 30-60 minutes at room temperature before serving. We love topping our home-made sorbet with some of Lizi's Granola Crunch try the Pink Apple & Cinnamon or the Treacle & Pecan.
