Easter Gift Ideas

Looking for an original gift for family or friends this Easter? Then look no further we've got some ideas that taste divine and are sure to bring a smile or two...

Chocolate Nuts
- Line a baking sheet with parchment and gently melt 30g of Plamil dark chocolate in a heat proof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Stir in a selection of shelled, unsalted nuts such as brazils, macadamia, almonds and cashews (about 50g) and ensure all the nuts are completely coated. Carefully remove the nuts from the bowl and place on the baking parchment being sure to separate them so they don't stick together. Dust half of the nuts with cocoa powder and leave them all to harden. Remove from the tray and place in a small box or bag fastened with a pretty bow.

Chocolate & Orange Crunchies - Place 10-12 paper muffin cases on a baking sheet. Melt 100g of Plamil no sugar chocolate in a bowl over simmering water, when melted add 2 tbsp of tahini, 50g oats, 50g Nakd Orange Amazin Raisins, 60g Munchy Seeds Vanilla mix and 50g desiccated coconut. Mix well until all of the ingredients are completely coated with chocolate and then spoon even-sized portions (to avoid any squabbles!) into the muffin cases. Chill until set. Present on a tray or in a pretty gift box.

Home-made Easter Egg filled with treats - You will need an Easter egg (6 inch) mould for this recipe, place on a tray lined with baking parchment. Melt 325g of Divine chocolate in a bowl over simmering water. Allow to cool slightly and then using a large spoon pour over enough chocolate to coat the sides of the mould. Invert the moulds on the baking tray and refrigerate until set. Coat like this twice more and then refrigerate for an hour. When fully set, trim off any excess chocolate at the edges and carefully remove the moulds. Keep refrigerated until ready to assemble. Assemble the egg by filling one half with treats such as our small bars of Divine chocolate. Spread a little extra melted chocolate along the rims of the egg and hold together. Refrigerate to set and then present tied with a ribbon.

If all that sounds a bit too much like hard work then opt for Divine's Easter Egg which is simply (as it's name suggests) divine.......
